I AM...

I AM!

A Message from God

                                        By T. Taylor

I am says the Lord!

I am

I am says the Father…

I am.

I am says the Son…

I AM!

I am says the Holy Spirit…

I am.

I am your friend, I am your counselor.

I am your teacher,

I am your… preacher.

I am your doctor, your lawyer, your sister, your brother.

I am your judge.

I am your provider.

I am your ALL MIGHTY GOD!

I am… your desire.

I am your peace in the midst of your storm.

I am the lift you fell when you say, “I can’t go on!”

I am the voice you hear that whispers to your heart,

I am the moon, the sun, the light and the dark.

I AM!

I am the rain,

I am the lightening.

I am the thunder…

I AM!

I am the flowers,

and wind that blows through the trees.

I the force that has power to calm the roaring seas!

I AM!

I say…I am.

Hear me my children this day.

I am the laughter that fills the mouths of children as they play.

I am,

the joy of new life,

I am… life.

I am…everlasting life.

I am your healer.

I am your redeemer.

I am

your rock on which you build,

on which you stand,

and sit,

and lay…and cry,

and cry….

 and cry…

   and…cry.

I am that hand that guides you.

I am that strength that moves you.

I am

the tears you cry as you lift your voice to the sky.

I AM.

I am

the doctor, my sister- I have spoken… I AM THE FINAL SAY.

I am

the cellmate, mother- your son will be okay.

I am

the strong arm, my brother- I will bring your wife back home.

I am

your shelter, my hurting teen- you’ve strayed…it’s okay

come on home.

I am

that bum on the street!

…Don’t you see me?

I am

that little old lady needing help across the street.

I am

the bird that flew on your window pane.

(laugh) –yeah I know,

You didn’t think birds flew in the rain.

Children, Children, Children!

I am your Sheppard!

I look out in my fields,

and search for one of my own kind….

Ohhhhhhhh but all see is the blind leading the blind!

I am

your covering.

I am

your favor…

I am your grace.

As you preached and teached and ministered….

I was there in that sanctified place.

It was I, who watched you go

from the pulpit…

to the depths of hell all in the same day!

Awwwwww but

I am

the Forgiver, your Redeemer…

turn from your wicked ways I say!

OH CHILDREN UNDER THE SOUND OF MY VOICE!

Believe!

I AM!

I am

The beginning, the Alpha… the Omega…

I am

The End.

I am

The Revelation.

I AM…

coming again.

Oh my sheep!

I say I AM!

I am

the one who gave you mouth to mouth,

after I rescued you from drowning in that,

pool of vodka.

I am the safety on the trigger that wouldn’t unlock brother,

that would have had you…locked up.

I am

My sister- the one that was there that night.

I am

The One who spoke, “PUT DOWN THAT CRACK PIPE!”

“Daughter I am here, follow me…and you will never hurt again.”

I AM

The One who will stay with you from the beginning,

…through…

to the very end.

I am, brother

The One that was there that dreadful night.

Have your forgotten… the bullets that rang?

I am, the one that held you in my arms.

Remember the man that fell at your feet?...yet you were unharmed.

I AM

The One that calls you home- Lady of the Night.

The money, the men…come to me daughter,

It’s alright!

I AM THE SECOND CHANCE GIVER!

I AM HE!

Confess my children that I AM!

and….

I shall not lead you into temptation,

But to everlasting life.

I will deliver you from evil…

For I AM

The Kingdom, and the Power,

and the Glory,

FOREVER.

I AM!

Pride Goes Before Destruction

The Lord is Worthy to be praised this Wednesday Folks! Worthy He is indeed.

I want to first start of by giving God the praise this morning if it’s nothing more than allowing me to see another day.  I thank Him for the desire to serve His name and to minister to you all. I also thank Him for humbling me under His mighty hand today. I declare not my will, but His will be done this morning as each of you read the message He’s given me to share. Praises be to His name!

I want to speak today on that sneaky little spirit called pride. Don’t act like you’re not familiar with it… we all have had an encounter or two with this nasty, destructive self-proclaimed ‘friend’.

Many of us wonder why we’re not getting ahead or why growth hasn’t taken its course in our lives. Why our employers aren’t promoting us, why friends tend to shy away from us, or maybe why our relationships tend to be unhealthy, full of drama and/or pretty short (stay focused…this isn’t about what the other person did right now…stop pointing fingers *smile*) Proverbs 16:18 states, "Pride goes before destruction. And a haughty spirit before stumbling."  Have you checked your pride-o-meter lately?

What is pride? Here are a few examples I read as I studied: self proclaimed status, lavish praise and too much attention to self, need to be right, being argumentative, quick to anger, impatience, competitive and comparisons.  –WOW!

Scripture states once pride comes, then comes dishonor. No wonder many relationships aren’t thriving, or there’s not growth in the lives of some. The Lord makes it plain and easy to digest, . . . God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble." James 4:6.

It took me some time to fall to my knees and humble myself wholeheartedly friends. I am a living witness the Word of God is powerful and alive as a live wire! He’s taken me from nowhere to somewhere… and for that I give Him glory. The things I had back then were nothing compared to the peace and love I feel deep down these days.

I just pray if you haven’t a clue of the overwhelming anointing I’m speaking of, and are desiring it, that you make a conscience decision to walk in the Spirit of the Lord so that He can exalt and establish you giving you favor and allowing you to walk in His sufficient grace.

Let’s work on kicking that filthy spirit of pride out or our lives friends! Every time you feel it sneaking up on you, cast it out! You’ll see the TRUE you start transforming once you make up in your mind to be renewed by the Spirit of truth!

Stay encouraged~

The Sound of Grace...

This message was so profound I had to share with you Family:

I'm sure you'll agree that one of the greatest (and most familiar) hymns of the church is Amazing Grace, written by John Newton.

I don't believe there has ever been a song written that captures the very essence of the transforming power God has over our lives as believers like Amazing Grace.

However, I must admit that as a child, every time I would hear this hymn sung in church, there was one phrase that would always leave me confused.

Just didn't make much sense to me.

"Amazing Grace,

How Sweet The Sound,

That Saved A Wrencchhh..."

Wait just one minute!! Did anyone hear what I just heard?

How sweet the sound? Huh?

Every time I heard that phrase I would look up and around at all the grownups singing, just to see if anyone was as puzzled as I was. Never found one.

Finally, I mustered enough courage to ask someone. But not just anyone.

I went to see Leola Ford (no relation). She was one of the senior members of our church's choir.

Leola was somewhat of a source of inspiration for our church, and especially for me. Strangely enough, it was not because of her singing.

But rather it was because Leola Ford...was blind.

After service one day, I asked her a question that my inquiring mind just had to know. She just seemed like the right person to ask.

The Question: Does Grace Have A Sound?

I remember the look on her face like it was yesterday. But more importantly, I remember the answer she gave me. It is one that has stayed with me for quite some time.

Leola reached out to locate the top of my head, and as she gave me a few light pats, she leaned over and whispered these words:

Live A Little Longer, Milan. You'll Hear It.

While it didn't make sense to me then, fast forward several years, and I now understand exactly what she meant. Grace indeed has a sound.

It's the sound my minivan made last week, just as I slammed on the breaks to avoid colliding with that metal object that flew off the back of a truck in front of me.

It's the sound of my wife's 87-year old grandmother blowing out the candles on her birthday cake last month, as she endures the inconvenience of dialysis treatment every week.

It's the sound my new neighbor's keys make, as she opens the door to a home that someone else last summer no longer had the money to keep.

It's the sound of yet another grocery receipt being printing out, after my wife and I spent the night before racking our brains as to how we were going to fill the fridge.

The sounds of grace are all around us.

If we could ever (as believers) become blind to some of things we complain about regarding our lives, and open our ears towards a faithful God, we may be surprised to discover a symphony of grace and salvation.

God's grace is more than amazing. Until Next week Family… Keep it moving

Dwelling in Excellence

Good Morning Everyone! Welcome back to Worthy Wednesday.  I’m praising God this morning as I lift my voice and sing (more like whale!) “I’ve hadddd some good dayysss, I’ve hadddd some hillssss to climbbb, I’ve had some weary days, and some sleepness nighttss... la la la (can’t remember the words) ..but all of my good daayss out weighed myyy baddd days….I won’ttt complainnnn!”

Hallelujah! If any of you don’t know that song, you may want to step foot in a church- or maybe it’s just my singing that makes you not recognize it –lol-nevertheless, it's a wonderful song.

Anyhoo Friends J …. This week I want to open with a wonderful Scripture coming from Pilippians 4:8, “Therefore Brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy or praise, dwell on those things.”

We’re instructed to dwell on all things that are excellent right? The definition of dwell is to: 1.-to keep the attention directed or I love this one also: 2- to live as a resident.

Therefore it is safe to say once we begin to dwell on excellent things our minds began to change and conform to excellence! We begin to think excellent, in turn reacting in excellence and ultimately walking in excellence.

Now, dwelling on excellence and walking in excellence are not one in the same. We must continuously seek things that are excellent as the Word states so that are minds are shifted or distracted away from Him.

Family, let’s start allowing God to live as a resident in the  in our minds, dwelling on Him that is EXCELLENT in all His ways!

This week, I challenge you to stay focused and directed to those things that are pure, true, lovely and right. I challenge each of you as I take the same challenge to dwell on Excellence this week!

Until next week… Keep it moving~

He Walks First...

He Walks First

Good morning Friends! ***Princess Wave*** And praise God for all of you that truly motivate me to share what God has spoken to me.

Psalms 23:5 says, “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.”

What a wonderful way to start off with Worthy Wednesday this week! Isn’t it good to know God has your back and will bless you right there in a bad situation for all to see if you just believe!

When you realize you can’t make it on your own- That you need God to lead and you follow, walk ahead of you at times while you wait, go before you just to be sure everything is alright you’ll sleep better at night and live better by day.

This is an awesome scripture.  It’s an assurance that not only will you walk through your situation but when you get to the other side of that situation, they’ll be a table prepared to for us to sit, sup, enjoy, praise God , dance and shout right there in front of the very person or people that spitefully set out to destroy you! Victory is ours friends!

God takes care of His own.  Just as Sheppard watches over his sheep, so does God watch over His children. Therefore family, during the times you know you’re being plotted against and you feel the enemy creeping and lurking to take you out….oh and HE WILL TRY every time… just open your mouth and ask God to go walk first.  He’ll walk right through that thing and with Him, He’ll bring peace and justice as He turns and stretches His mighty hand for you to follow.

Just the Red Seas were parted?  God will part them for you too in even today and you will be taken to the other side! Remember friends …and this too shall pass!

Breaking Evil Agreements by Mickie Winborn

Sometimes the negative outcomes we experience in life are the results of unconscious covenants we've made with the enemy.

We have to make countless decisions every day. Sadly, many of us fail to seek God's wisdom. Instead, people in desperate situations often make desperate choices.

But when we make decisions that violate the Word of God, the consequences can be grave. Unwise choices can lead to the destruction of marriages, relationships, families, careers and even life itself.

Some people constantly make wrong decisions based on their faulty belief systems rather than on God's guidance. They think their decision-making processes are under their own private control. But in truth, their choices become casualty covenants with the enemy, resulting in the negative outcomes they have come to expect.

A casualty covenant is a conscious or unconscious agreement made with forces of darkness that may lead to bondage, distress, disease or death. This type of agreement is binding and strong enough to change the course of a person's life.

These subconscious agreements that exist in the mind and emotions can affect our thoughts and behavior without our awareness. Satan's carefully engineered suggestions and strategies are designed to bring death not only to our dreams but also to our bodies.

CASUALTY COVENANTS AFFECT OUR HEALTH -When we lack knowledge of God's Word or are disobedient to its truth, we are like open targets in a pitching booth at the county fair: We can be hit by one of the devil's balls of fire and never know what happened!

Only by understanding and obeying the Scriptures will we avoid being defeated by the devil. Jesus said that knowing God's truth sets people free. This is God's will for all men (( John 8:32; 1 Tim. 2:3-4).

That's why we must not be ignorant of Satan's devices. We must follow Jesus' example when He was tempted and counter each temptation with God's Word (Matt. 4:5-11).

A NEAR-CASUALTY- I was ignorant of these truths when I entered the hospital for routine surgery years ago. Waking up from the anesthesia, I was surprised to see my physician standing beside my bed.

She said: "Mrs. Winborn, you have ovarian cancer. Laboratory tests show that it is in the last stages and has metastasized.

"However," she continued, "there is one hope. It's called the gold treatment and involves inserting a live radioisotope into your body, which will make you temporarily radioactive.

But I really believed God would heal me. I had two young sons to raise.

Unexpectedly, I began to hear words spoken into my left ear. The voice was that of a demonic messenger, who said, "Make a covenant with Satan, and you can live."

I had never realized before that a Christian could make a covenant with Satan. If I had obeyed that voice, I would have made a conscious covenant with the enemy, whereas most people are deceived into making unconscious covenants with him.

This proposition came at a time when it seemed that a dark and final curtain was falling upon my life. I desperately desired to live. Yet despite so many prayers and all the good care I had received, the ordeal had intensified!

I was not confused about my response to the satanic proposition. I reasoned: Satan is a liar. Jesus Christ is the truth. I refuse Satan's offer of life. I will trust Jesus Christ, who is life. The confrontation was over, and I slept soundly for the first time in months.

HEALED IN AN INSTANT-Soon after that experience, I had biopsies of the two tumors in my breasts. No cancer was found!

Fifteen months later, after much prayer and guidance from the Holy Spirit there still wasn't any cancer! I was healed!

I am thoroughly convinced that the main reason many people have a recurrence of cancer is their fear that it will come back. The evil spirit works on the patient's thought life until he or she finally yields to the fear of cancer and becomes a casualty again.

CUTTING TIES-You can break all agreements you have ever made with the enemy--consciously or unconsciously. In the name of Jesus, you can be completely free so that casualty covenants have no power over you from this moment on.

Satan wants to keep you in the dark concerning any areas in your soul where you have yielded to the temptation to agree with him. Pray to God and ask Him to reveal to you any covenants you may have made with Satan in your life.

Receive God's answer and act on it immediately, asking His forgiveness. God's will is for us to enjoy abundant life. Jesus said, "I came so they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of" (John 10:10).

Most of us suffer occasionally from attacks of negative emotions such as self-pity, fear, rejection and bitterness. Satan's plan is always to deceive through these emotions to make something wrong seem right.

We can't keep these transient attacks from coming to our thoughts. But just as we don't have to let birds that fly over our heads make a nest in our hair, we also don't have to dwell on those negative emotions.

Jesus came to set you free, and you can be "free indeed!” As you come to understand the devices of the devil to deceive you into making covenants with him, you can cut his evil influence out of your thoughts and decisions forever.

Our Fallen Soldiers...

*Walking in with the Full Armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-1 on…ready for war!*

I got my soldier rag tied around my head and I’m ready!!! “ATTENTION!” LOL J

Good morning Fam! Happy Wednesday to you.- I pray God has worked some things out on your behalf and you’re sharing His good works and encouraging people in the Lord more and more every day as we all should.

I wanted to share with you this week what God put on my heart in regard to Our Fallen Soldiers in Christ. I’m referring to those brothers and sisters we have seen fall at the side of the road. Those that have been wounded severely, have stumbled behind enemy lines, or have been taken as P.O.W. (Prisoners of War). Regardless of the circumstance, because we are all Christians fighting this same fight, don’t you believe it’s up to us to extend our hand to those that have fallen?

Just as our soldiers are fighting overseas, there are women and men up in the tower serving as watchmen over our own. So shouldn’t we too be fighting and watching from our towers in the spiritual realm for those in our Christian Army?  We know there are numerous men and women being spiritually attacked right? I mean who isn’t? I’m sure we’ve all been there and if you haven’t, you’re a rare breed my friend.

But most of us have truly been to Ground –Zero at one time or another haven’t we? I can remember a time when I couldn’t get out of bed because I was so weak from enemy attacks! Oh yes…stumbling around, wounded, and definitely easy prey for the enemy to finish me off! I only can thank God I had some folks that were true Christian Warriors surrounding and keeping me guarded as I was strengthened.

It can be a hopeless place sometimes Family but always remember, when we have fallen…and you will fall, we are not alone. There will always be a soldier to cover us! When our Sisters and Brothers are not only helpless, but they’re also hopeless, we must be watchmen over them to ensure the enemy doesn’t finish them off! Grab hold of their hand my friend and shelter them with your mighty Shield of Faith! Rebuke the enemy out of their lives with your two-edged Sword of the Spirit! Place your feet firmly in place with your Shoes of the Gospel, get your mind right and throw on the Helmet of Salvation, stand up straight…stick out your chest wearing your Breastplate of Righteousness, fasten your  Belt of Truth and prepare for battle on behalf of Our Fallen Soldiers!

Hallelujah!

What are you doing to hold a fallen soldier up?! If we have to stand on guard with our weapons of destruction and rotate sleep amongst other soldiers….so be it Friends that’s what we have to do. That’s what this spiritual war is all about!  Romans 14:12 boldly states, “So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.” This also includes how we cover one another during this time of persecution.

This week Friends, let’s remember that we are a part of a huge family. Our fight is not a fight that is to be fought alone. There are many of us soldiers in the same  spiritual army and unfortunately we have some that have taken some pretty hard hits. Let’s due our part by recognizing Our Fallen Soldiers, covering them and holding them up in prayer! God’s looking to hand out those medals and Purple Hearts! Will you receive one?

Until next week… Keep it moving~

Recession

***Walking in with my princess wave*** Good morning Folks! Hallelushha

They say we're in a Recession right? Possibly going into a Depression. It’s been said that the country’s not “out putting” as much as the economy needs, which is pretty much detrimental to our financial growth.

Well guess what Friends?  I also heard the Lord say the world isn’t not possibly, but factually, going through a Spiritual recession as well.  He says the world’s not  “putting in” as much as the Kingdom needs,  which is pretty much detrimental to our spiritual growth and most importantly, our salvation.

The definition of recession is: a period, shorter than a depression, during which there is a decline in economic trade and/or prosperity

HMMMMM ….We say we’re believers of the Word, of who Jesus is and what He stands for right? Yet some continue to live life day to day, night to night like He’s not capable of snatching you any second of any minute….at anytime.  How do we say we love God so much Friends if we don’t love the world and the people in it?  Jesus says, “Love one another that the world may know you are my disciples.” John 13:34-35 - Let’s keep it real for a second shall we? God doesn’t need us, we need Him.  People need people.

As Christians we have to realize that our mission is to be fisherman of Him. We are to attract people to God so that He can perform works in their lives and get them prepared to receive eternal life! How can we attract non-believers if we’re not “putting in work”?  Folks walking around not sharing the love that God has shared with them… why? I’ll tell you why:  the spirits of Selfishness, Greed and Pride.

People want to keep what the Lord has done for them to themselves. They don’t want to share the miracles and triumphs they’ve overcame because they want others to think they’ve accomplished these “miraculous” deeds and overcame their situation through hell and high water…mountain tops and wrestling with lions ALL BY THEIR LONESOME! Get real!   They want all the praise, all the glory and all the credit to be focused on them and them alone.

Yes my Friends…this is happening with people who call themselves Christians and unfortunately I know I’m speaking to a few folks that are guilty right now, and I’m sure you know one or two also don’t you? What type of Christians are these you ask? The type that are causing the Spiritual world to go into a factual recession!

Friends stay strong in the Lord! Declare, “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39

This week I challenge each of you (including myself) to assess your Spiritual walk with the Lord. Pray, fast, and get answers! Are you contributing to this Spiritual recession in the Kingdom or are you assisting in building it up?  Do you love people that truly will never love you back? It’s easier said than done- I KNOW. But for us to be who we say we are in the Lord we have to love others as Jesus loves us.  We have to pick up that cross and walk through this world daily. Remember there are other Christians willing to help you carry it if it gets a little to overwhelming- but our main focus should be to make it!

Let’s be a light amongst this dark and dreadful world! It’s never to late to try again. God is the second chance giver! Hallelujah – and for some, He’s the 3rd, and 4th, and 5th!  As long as your blood is still warm my friends, you have time to turn it around.

Work toward your destiny ~Love ya

You Will Go Out in Joy and Be Led Forth In Peace...

Good morning Family!

God told me to tell you…it’s already taken care of.  Now just thank Him in advance J~

Today is HOT in the Houston area-lol…if you’re planning to visit bring a defibrillator! Goodness it’s hot out here!

I wanted to share with you today Isaiah 55:12-13, “You will go out in joy
and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands. Instead of the thorn bush will grow the pine tree, and instead of briers the myrtle will grow. This will be for the LORD's renown, or an everlasting sign, which will not be destroyed."

What a wonderful way to start off with Worthy Wednesday this week! Isn’t it good to know God not only has our back, but stands in front of us as well leading us through with peace!  When we realize we can’t make it on your own- That we need God to lead and we follow, walk ahead of us at times while we just wait…go before us just to be sure everything is alright we’ll start sleeping a whole lot better at night and live our lives better by day- don’t you agree?

This is an awesome scripture isn’t it?  It’s an assurance that not only will we walk through our situations knowing we will walk in grace; but when we get to the other side of that situation, there will be a table prepared for us to sit, sup, enjoy, and praise God!

God takes care of His own just as Sheppards watch over their sheep- so does God watch over His children. Therefore family, during the times you may be feeling a little unsure about the territory you’re walking on just meditate on this scripture and know God will lead you.  Just open your mouth and ask God to go walk first.  You’ll walk right through that unfamiliar place assured you’re walking with Him. He’ll bring peace and comfort as He turns and stretches His mighty hand for us to follow as we go out with joy and led forth in peace.

Until Next Week- Keep it moving~

When Disappointment Comes In Man...

Yes, Yes, It’s that time again! Wednesdays are so looked forward to, as all days should be. I give God glory this morning and say He is so WORTHY to be praised!

I thank you all for the overwhelming responses to last week’s message. I truly believe that sharing true feelings and experiences encourages all of us one way or another. Any time I can hurt and share and that lifts someone else up or just gives them motivation to keep going… it was well worth it! So with that, I say I love you, I thank you and Praises be to God!

This week I simply want to encourage each of you to continue to strive for excellence in the Lord. Please remember that "When Disappointment Comes In Man", and it will come… remember that man is not God. "It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in mortals." Psalm 118:8,9. So many times we expect people to “rise to the occasion” in situations that occur in our lives. We put so much trust in men and women of God whom we feel should take on certain responsibilities or respond to situations in a certain manner, when the truth is, God has already spoken, "Do not put your trust in princes, Nor in a son of man, in whom there is no help" Psalm 146:3 – This tells us that the help we’re so desperately seeking Friends will not come from those we’ve cried with, shared with, or even confided in all the time, so don’t be shocked or disappointed! Let’s remember that people are that…just people and we all fall short don’t we?

It’s taken me sometime and much prayer to get through some hurt these past few weeks because I had too many expectations and put too much emphasis on titles! I am so glad to know a God that will speak to us through our hurt and through our disappoint Family. When peace and assurance can come to us after seeking His face and seeking answers… you know God is something isn’t He?

I thank Him this Wednesday that He has eased my feelings of disappointment in man! This Wednesday Family God is truly worthy!

"And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You" Psalm 9:10.

I’ve taken all scriptures from the Book of Psalms this week if you’ve noticed. The fact that the psalms are about people, the struggle and joy of living life under God, has kept me these past weeks Family. If you’re not familiar with the book, please take time to read them. I assure you; you will be lifted and guided.

This week, remember that people are people. It doesn’t matter the title, reputation, or past experiences… all people will disappoint you. It is written. Pray for these people Friends, seek God’s guidance with your hurt and disappointment, and never let the devil drive unnecessary wedges through relationships just because you’ve been let down. You’ll look around one day and you’ll find yourself…by yourself!

Until next week…Keep it Moving~

**Walking out with two fingers in the air** PEACE!
